Build a Mosque #3: Masjid al-Noor (Uganda)

HISTORIC DEDICATION OF BUILD-A-MOSQUE 3

Alhamdulillah, SUFILIVE, along with our partner BUHISU MUSLIM DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, are happy to report that on January 3rd, 2020, BAM3 in Karoja village (near Mbale) in Eastern Uganda opened for Salat al-Jumu’ah. Masjid classes and other activities are now fully operational for 500 worshippers. Its grateful members say they will continue to pray for Sufilive donors, staff, and to whom the mosque is dedicated: Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, Shaykh Adnan Kabbani, and Shaykh Hisham Kabbani.

Locals had not previously heard of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham or the Naqshbandi Tariqah, but on his advice, without delay they changed the name from Masjid Uthman to Masjid al-Noor as he said it will bring them more baraka.
