2020 Adha Qurbani
This year with Covid-19 preventing pilgrims from making the Hajj, we received solace by making Qurban for our family and knowing the most needy receive this blessed sacrifice.
In the tradition of our father Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) we say to our Lord, “Labbayk, Allahuma labayk! Labayka laa shareeka laka labayk. At Your service, O Allah, at Your service! At Your service, for You there is no partner, we are at Your service!”
Eid al-Adha is approaching, when Muslims around the world commemorate the epic sacrifice of Sayyidina Ibrahim, alayhi ‘s-salam, which is Sunnah Mu’akkadah (a confirmed action of the Prophet ﷺ) in the Maliki, Hanbali, and Shafi`ee madhhabs, and Wajib (required) in the Hanafi madhhab. ISCA is ready to perform this rite on your behalf in places where there is much need. We will distribute your qurbani/zabiha to: orphans, widows, war refugees, the handicapped and indigent.
And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father’s] endeavors, the latter [Ibrahim] said: “O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you: consider then, what would be your view.” [Isma`eel] answered: “O my father! Do as you are ordered: you will find me, if God wills, among those who are patient.” (Surat as-Saffat, 37:102)
